Dear Ms Pintó,

I have heard, in “tutoria” class, that next year the school calendar is going to change a little. I think it is a bad idea and I am writing to ask you your opinion and to give my own.

On the one hand, it is true that we do not have too many free days during the school course and I agree that it would be better to have a free week in February. But, on the other hand, that means we would have to start our classes before and living in this country, I think, it is not preferable because of the hot weather in summer. Moreover, we have already Christmas and Easter holidays.

In my opinion, the current school calendar is not bad and if they want to change it to improve our results I think it is a mistake to compare it with others European models like Germany’s model because there are lots of differences between these two countries like the weather.
